Based in Erith, Neville UK PLC manufactures and supplies catering equipment to the food service industry. The company’s products include dishes, tableware and bar equipment, which are distributed throughout the UK.
Project Brief
Having previously used our high speed doors at its former site, Neville UK chose to install our products in its new Erith-based warehouse. Neville UK had been impressed with our doors’ performance and reliability, leading to the catering equipment supplier ordering five FOLD UP door models.
Due to the company’s relocation, this project was time sensitive. Therefore, a fast turnaround was crucial in ensuring Neville UK could resume full operations quickly.
Our Solution: FOLD UP Doors
While the new building was already equipped with sectional doors, these weren’t suitable for continual use throughout the day. As Neville is a busy distributor of catering equipment, it needed doors that could be opened more frequently.
Therefore, we specified high speed folding doors, which are made for intensive use in busy industrial environments. Installed in front of the sectional doors, the FOLD UP models allow for a constant flow of goods and people, helping to speed up operations.
FOLD UP doors are also ideal for challenging weather conditions. As the Neville warehouse is in an exposed environment, the door’s robust design and wind resistance helps to battle the elements. They can also be left open in summer, which allows airflow into the building to prevent the mezzanine overheating.
The Result
Our proposed solution addressed Neville’s specific needs for high-frequency door usage in a busy distribution environment. By specifying FOLD UP high speed fold up doors, we provided a robust, fast and efficient solution capable of withstanding intensive use and challenging weather conditions.
The doors now allow a constant flow of goods and people, significantly speeding up their distribution operations. Furthermore, their design offers excellent wind resistance in an exposed environment and allows for natural ventilation during warmer months.
